SECOND LIFE

Every year in late summer, they emerge and usually block the main roads of small communities and villages. Fair, Kirmes, Kerwe, Kirb, Kier – as they are still called, all with regional tongue strike. Supposedly immune to extinction. Supposedly.

For many visitors just fun, for others a little escape from everyday life. For me, a project that I have been following for some time and a topic that has forced itself on me and wants to be held and seen.
